Enjoy Life Fun Fold

I love this new fun fold because it sits up so nicely on a desk for display. Did you see the sentiment on this card? When my kids were growing up I wouldn’t let them say, “Butt.” Now that I’m a biker, training on hills and riding longer distances, I find the sentiment, “Wake up Kick Butt Repeat,” motivational. 🙂

It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge!  I love being a designer for Festive Friday and this week’s challenge #FF0038 is Parent’s Day (July 28) and/or Watercolor.   #festivefridaychallenge  I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D item and join us. If you want help entering, please email me at Beth@StampingMom.com and I’d love to help you!

The pretty paper on this card is faux watercolor. Yep, I have gorgeous watercolor without doing any watercoloring because of this stunning See a Silhouette paper. This card could be given to Steve and I for Parents Day because Steve and I both LOVE riding our bikes and are parents to our four wonderful kids! (I need to let my kids know that July 28 is Parent’s Day because I’m sure they’ll get right on that!) Have heard about RAGBRAI? It’s the Register’s Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa. Steve, his brothers and I usually ride for two days during the week. It’s actually a mobile party of 15,000 people who love to ride bikes and enjoy the hospitality of Iowa’s small towns. Eating homemade pie is one of my favorite parts! Coconut Cream is one of my favorite pies! I also love the beauty of Iowa and riding past the cornfields. You also meet a lot of interesting people. This next week is going to be super hot, so I hope it cools off the following week for RAGBRAI or it won’t be quite as much fun.

Such a cool card, Beth! That paper creates such a gorgeous background for you image and the little wrenches are the perfect touch. RAGBRA sounds like a lot of fun, too. Especially for that coconut cream pie. Lol!

I just love this fold! I’m definitely going to give it a try soon! How cool that you and Steve ride in RAGBRAI! Of course we hear about it here in Omaha, and Brian, being from IA knows all about it! I never thought of only riding a few days of the event…
